Students for Education Reform (SFER) and the National Council on Teacher Quality (NCTQ) are working together to bring information to students and the public about programs preparing teachers.
In Fall 2012, NCTQ and U.S. News & World Report will publish a national review of teacher preparation programs all across the country. Never before have aspiring teachers had the chance to learn about the quality of these programs before enrollment. SFER envisions a future where all children have access to high-quality education, and they mobilize future leaders determined to close the achievement gap.
We want to hear from college students about what they want to see in this review. So we're asking you to fill out this brief survey to tell us what you think about teacher preparation and the profession of teaching.
We'll use what we hear to make sure we're letting students like you know where they should go to become an effective teachers, and what teacher preparation programs need to do to attract strong candidates.
