Seeking your views
We are keen to involve local residents in our decision making. We recently consulted the residents of Duston, regarding pitches floodlighting at Duston Sports Centre; residents felt this would be intrusive and would attract rowdy and inconsiderate behaviour, late into the evenings. We listened to residents and in agreement with Duston parish Council and Northampton Borough Council, agreed not to progress with the installation of the lights.
Moving forward, and following earlier decisions to carry out some improvements to Duston Sports Centre, we are now seeking the views of local residents and of users and potential users of the Centre on how those improvements will be carried out. This is your opportunity to help us shape the delivery of the project.
This short questionnaire asks for your views on how those improvements to the facilities can be made. This will help us mitigate any potential impact on residents and future users of the centre, as we move forward.
There are 3 sections to the document, the first asks about improvements to the bowling green facilities, the second about a changing pavilion and the third about changes to the main access point to the site.
