NICE is currently consulting on a second guideline for the rehabilitation of people who have suffered a stroke.

LOCSU believes the profession is already involved in the rehabilitation of stroke victims with a visual impairment but is not recognised as being involved. In order to respond to the question
‘How should people with visual impairment including diplopia be best managed after a stroke?’, LOCSU and the Optical Confederation need to get an idea of the number of contractors who routinely see stroke patients in their practices.
