Introduction

The Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) has a key role in the new European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF) 2014-2020 Programme.

Thanks to requirements set out in the Regulations and the Code of Conduct on Partnership, all partners (including community-based and voluntary organisations, environmental and equality partners) need to be fully involved in the new Programme.

This presents a huge challenge for the VCS, NCVO is therefore inviting views on how the sector is dealing with the new geography of 39 Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) areas, on the capacity of local organisations working together and the levels of engagement between the sector and the LEPs.

NCVO has been directly involved in the design of the new ESIF Programme working in partnership with BIS, the Mas, the OCS, Big Lottery Fund, the European Funding Network Advisory Group and a wide range of stakeholders from Civil Society.

It should only take a few minutes, we appreciate your time.
