Hello, our names are Mindy Erchull and Kate Richmond. We are faculty members in the psychology departments at the University of Mary Washington and Muhlenberg College, respectively. We are inviting you to participate in our research study. Participation in this study is completely voluntary.
The purpose of the study is to learn about how fathers talk to their children about puberty. We are looking for fathers with children of any age to complete this survey.
If you choose to participate, you will complete an online questionnaire. This will take approximately 15-20 minutes. All of your responses will remain anonymous. You do not have to answer any question that makes you feel uncomfortable, and you may end the survey at anytime.
The benefits of this study include an increased knowledge of how and when fathers talk to their children about puberty. We do not anticipate that you will encounter any negative consequences as a result of your participation in this study.
If you have any questions or concerns please contact Mindy Erchull at firstname.lastname@example.org.
