Community Services and Revitalization's Microbusiness Team is holding an orientation on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 to introduce loan opportunities to start your small business.

The Microbusiness Program is designed to help low and moderate income business owners in Jefferson County with starting and growing small businesses. A microbusiness employs five or fewer people, including the owner. The program includes training, technical assistance and an opportunity to apply for a loan. The micro loans can be financed up to six years with a preference towards short-term loans.

The business owner's household income must fall at or below 80% of AMI to qualify for the loan program.

Persons in Household - (50.1-80% of AMI)
1 Person - ($34,000 or less)
2 Person - ($38,850 or less)
3 Person - ($43,700 or less)
4 Person - ($48,550 or less)
5 Person - ($52,450 or less)
6 Person - ($56,350 or less)
7 Person - ($60,250 or less)
8 Person - ($64,100 or less)
