Experience new activities from Cornell Lab of Ornithology, get a free bird feeder, meet live birds from Native Bird Connections, and experience ways that birds can bring excitement and hands-on learning to your students!
This workshop is open to all educators, but the activities presented are most appropriate for K-8 students. This workshop is free, but you must register in advance (deadline: November 10, 2012).
Date and Time: November 14, 3:30-5:30 pm
Location:
The Gardens at Heather Farms (Rotary Room)
1540 Marchbanks Drive
Walnut Creek, CA
http://www.gardenshf.org/
Your Pennington bird feeder comes with one printed activity ("What Makes a Bird a Bird?") and access to more activities you can downlaod. We'll also send a take-home letter and coupon for each of your students, so let us know how many students you have below.
