Where Should People With Felony Convictions Live?

* 1. Public housing and many, if not most, subsidized affordable housing developments have tenant screening procedures that keep out people with felony convictions in their past. This is generally touted as the responsible thing to do, and yet it leaves a serious question: The United States has a huge prison population, with thousands being released each day. Where are people returning to the community from prison with felony records supposed to live?

They should be allowed in subsidized housing

They should be allowed in subsidized housing, but not in large numbers

There should be special housing for them
