* 1. Thank you for expressing interest in volunteering for the Washington Higher Education Sustainability Conference. As a volunteer you will receive complimentary admission in exchange for a volunteer shift. Please be prepared to volunteer between 8-9 hours on February 6th & 7th, 2014. The following shifts will be available:

- Registration Assistant | Help set up the registration area prior to the start of the conference. Assisting with a variety of tasks such as directing attendees, general registration, badge printing, speaker check in, setup/breakdown, etc.

- Directing Attendees & Breakfast Waste Management | Help set up the registration area prior to the start of the conference. Assisting with a variety of tasks such as directing attendees to different programs, restrooms, exhibitor stations, etc… As well as monitoring attendee waste products.

- Room Monitor: Open & Closing Plenary | Monitor the session door and answer basic questions about the event. Display time warning cards for speakers, take room counts, run the mic for the Q&A session as well as maintain the drinking water station and assist the stage manager as needed.

- Directing Attendees & Lunch Waste Management | Help set up the registration area prior to the start of the conference. Assisting with a variety of tasks such as directing attendees to different programs, restrooms, exhibitor stations, etc… As well as monitoring attendee waste products.

- Alternative Transportation | Help setup booth and table during networking breaks. Inform students, faculty/staff, and attendees of the sustainable and alternative transportation methods in the Bellingham area.
