Global Positioning System (GPS) Tracking Devices in Public Schools

Relative to House Concurrent Resolution 128, the Louisiana Department of Education is conducting this survey to determine whether school districts have adopted policies that permit or prohibit students from carrying or wearing Global Positioning System (GPS) devices while at school or when riding on a school bus. GPS devices may include cellular phone applications or dedicated GPS devices.
