RULES: Quest for Illinois’ Best Steak
Qualifying Restaurants:
• Restaurant/food service establishment must be located in Illinois.
• Product must be a steak on the menu of that restaurant.
• This contest is for restaurants; no votes will be accepted for individuals.
• Contest winners are restaurants
• Drawing winners are voters casting votes for their favorite restaurants.
Methods of Voting:
• June 17-July 10 = vote by online survey to nominate Top 10 restaurants.
• July 11-August 15 = vote among Top 10 in an online survey.
Rules:
• Voting will begin June 17, 2015 and end on August 15, 2015.
• Top 10 restaurant nominees will be announced July 13.
• Overall winning restaurant and 3 voters drawn at random will be announced on the IFB stage during Ag Day at the Illinois State Fair.
• The overall winning restaurant will win a $1,000 social media advertising package sponsored by the Illinois Beef Association. The Top 10 restaurants will receive a plaque for recognition.
• Each voter will be entered for a drawing to receive one of three $50 Beef Gift Certificates from the Illinois Beef Association.
After Winners are Announced
RFD radio staff, along with volunteer leaders from IBA, will visit and broadcast remotely from the Top 10 winning restaurants identified by voters. Beef gift certificate winners will also be invited to those recording/dining events.
