The N.C. Division of Environmental Assistance and Customer Assistance has developed EMS guidance materials and a timeline modeled on ISO 14001:2004 as a benefit to N.C. Environmental Stewardship Initiative members. EMS 101 was created to introduce the core EMS elements and the ESI program.
The class will be conducted June 17, 2015 in the DENR Training Room, 217 West Jones St., Raleigh beginning at 9:00 am and will go until noon. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early for registration.
Intro to Lean and Green is also being offered in the afternoon from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. This is a basic overview for those members who are interested in learning about basic Lean concepts and/or how to incorporate Green wastes into an already existing Lean system.
