The QIDS Professional Development Workshop will be delivered for and by QIDSS and QIDSS-like people, with support from leaders in the field and AFHTO staff. The workshop will focus on the following areas:
• Helping people use imperfect data to improve
• Translating problems into doable improvement projects using tools such as process mapping
• Helping teams define and track indicators of progress in improvement efforts
• Data mining, data analysis and presentation/report design that leads to positive action
• Getting physicians engaged in better data entry or other activities
The workshop will help participants help their respective health teams get the most value out of the D2D 1.0 report and will incorporate opportunities to apply solutions to specific EMRs.

AFHTO has requested funding from the Ministry to cover some or all of the costs of this learning program. Remaining costs will be covered through registration fees that could be FREE or to UP TO a maximum of $250 per person.
