2013/2014 Preparing Future Faculty and Professionals Program Application

The IUPUI Preparing Future Faculty and Professionals program is designed to introduce advanced graduate students and postdoctoral fellows to the full range of professional responsibilities in research, teaching and service for those interested in the academy and professional career options for those interested in non-academic careers. Centralized in the IUPUI Graduate Office, PFF works in collaboration with departments and school-based future faculty development programs to enhance knowledge and skill for participants seeking careers in higher education through year-round programming efforts. The IUPUI PFF also partners with the Center for Research and Learning (CRL), Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL), and the Office of Academic Affairs, among other resources to enhance participants’ knowledge on the scholarship of teaching and learning along with career planning and management. PFP is new for the 2012-13 academic year and will partner with departments, industry and community partners to assist graduate students and postdoctoral fellows in exploring and landing non-academic positions.
