Abstract Submission
The poster session will provide an opportunity for conference attendees to learn about innovative work in progress and to preview late-breaking research results.
A one-page abstract of accepted posters will appear in the summit proceedings distributed to conference attendees.
Topics of interest include the following:
a) Leadership development activities for accelerated students;
b) Successful recruitment and retention strategies to yield/ retain ethnically diverse or underrepresented students;
c) Program evaluation of accelerated programs;
d) Innovative program design for accelerated students;
e) Successful mentoring programs;
f) Career Trajectory (overview of your graduates’ 1) employment, 2) transition to graduate program, and 3) demonstrated leadership activities post-graduation);
g) Hot Topics (Amazing in- progress projects such as challenges faced, unexpected accomplishments/successes);
h) Cultural Competence Initiatives
The lead authors of the selected posters will be emailed on or by 8/19/2011.
