Hachey Ambassador Mentor Program: Alumni Interest Survey
|
1. Alumni Interest in 2013-14 Hachy Ambassador Mentor Program
Thank you for expressing an interest in being a mentor to a third- or fourth-year Mitchell student during the 2013-14 academic year. We will be inviting students to apply for the program during summer and early fall. Because we work hard to place students with mentors who are working in an area of particular interest to them, we cannot guarantee that a student will be placed with you. If it appears we have a good match we will confirm your interest and availability before matching you with a student.
The time commitment for being a mentor varies, but we suggest meeting at least 3-4 times during the academic year (October through April). We suggest that attorneys invite the student to visit their firm or organization, meet the student for coffee or lunch, and help the student make connections in the legal community by introducing them to other attorneys. You may also invite the student to attend a CLE or professional meeting or invite the student to get involved with a pro bono or other project.
If you have questions, please contact Alison.Morris@wmitchell.edu or call 651-290-6452.
