This survey is about BULLYING. Completing this survey honestly will help your teachers and school administrators in this building understand the bullying behaviors that may be happening in this school.

DIRECTIONS:
You will begin this survey by learning the definition of BULLYING that you will be using to answer the survey questions. If it helps, you can review the definition as you take the survey.

DEFINITION: BULLYING
BULLYING is an act that is done on purpose. Bullies use their power (physical size, age, social status, computer skills, etc.) to threaten, harass, or hurt others. BULLYING happens over and over to one person or group of people.

BULLYING happens in four basic ways: physical, verbal, indirect, or cyber bullying. The descriptions of these different types of bullying are described below.
1. PHYSICAL BULLYING happens when there is hitting, kicking, punching, taking people's belongings and other acts that hurt people physically and the happen repeatedly (not just one time).
