In addition to this application form, you must also submit your resume, a letter of interest, and a letter of support.  After completion of application, please forward resume, letter of interest and letter of support to to Lavina Joseph at ljoseph@ywca.org.

The letter of interest should be written by you, and outline your past work on global issues and your goals for promoting the global work of YWCA USA in your local YWCA community. Specifically, you should discuss how this year’s theme “Social protection systems, access to public services and sustainable infrastructure for gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls” relates to your work. The letter of interest should be no longer than two pages. 

The letter of support can be downloaded by clicking here. The letter should be signed by the executive director (ED) or chief executive officer (CEO) at the YWCA local association you are affiliated with. For EDs and CEOs applying, letters of support should be written by the Board President.

All materials must be received by 10 PM Eastern, Thursday, January 17, 2019.

Applicants selected to be delegates will also be awarded a stipend to cover the cost of attendance at the UNCSW for one or more days. More information about the stipend will be provided to delegates after notification is made on or before January 25, 2019. Please direct any questions to Lavina Joseph at ljoseph@ywca.org.
