This survey aims to understand what young people in Quebec experience and think, what worries them, and their ideas for protecting nature. Your answers will help create recommendations to better protect nature and help young people take part in decisions.
This version of the survey is intended for children aged 12 and under who live in Quebec. It takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes to complete. You do not need to have any specific knowledge about biodiversity: there are no right or wrong answers. We are interested in your experiences and perspectives. You may complete the survey by yourself or with help from an adult.
The answers will also be discussed at meetings with young people from different regions of Quebec. They will help create a report about young people’s ideas and priorities. The report will be given to the government and presented at an international meeting on biodiversity in October 2026.
All questions are optional: you may skip any question you do not want to answer.
