Introduction and more about who is running the survey

This survey is run by the Perinatal Pelvic Health Service Steering Group which is a working group made up of Buckinghamshire NHS Trust (BHT), Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (OUH), and Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust (RBFT) and the Thames Valley Integrated Care Board (TVICB) alongside their individual Maternity and Neonatal Voices Partnership (MNVP) representatives. Your data is collected anonymously by the MNVP and will be presented to the working group and the individual Trusts. The findings will be reviewed to improve services and assess the service.
This survey will ask you about your awareness of pelvic health, what information you received and about your experience of NHS services. You can answer these questions during pregnancy or after birth - there is an option to leave the survey after the ‘during pregnancy’ questions and return to answer questions about your ‘after birth’ experience.
Did you know? Perinatal pelvic health includes a range of problems such as:

- incontinence (that’s when you accidentally or without knowing about it let out urine/wee or faeces/poo) - pelvic organ prolapse (where you might feel pain, heaviness or dragging in your vagina)
- pain during sex
- childbirth-related injuries like third- or fourth-degree tears.
