The Yoko McClain endowment fund wishes to bring outstanding scholars to the University of Oregon campus from other highly regarded institutions to give lectures and/or seminars to augment the ongoing work by faculty in the Japanese Language and Literature program. This fund will act as a lasting tribute to the life and work of Yoko McClain, which will help foster and promote scholarship within the discipline upon which she has had such an important impact.

This funding is open to all UO faculty, though all proposals must have an EALL faculty member collaborator.
