YMCA Romford has an ambitious approach for the next phase of its offer to the local area. YMCA are seeking development of a new 6-storey brick building fronting Rush Green Road, offering circa 190 modern rooms with ensuite facilities and associated amenities for all residents. This building will seek to improve the quality of accommodation on site, provide flexible ground floor uses including studio space for public and resident use, landscaping/amenity space, and reconfiguration of the parking fronting Rush Green Road.

This development forms an important part of the future development of the existing premises through refurbishment and updating of the existing facilities in the next 5 years (Phase 2). Further consultation events will be held on Phase 2 at a later date.
