9.The UK Government recently announced that Under-16s will be prevented from downloading Snapchat, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and X, and from livestreaming themselves from Spring 2027. This will undoubtedly affect some of our younger members receiving communication from Headquarters. How do you feel YFCU could ensure all Under-16s receive the same communication?

11.YFCU currently use WhatsApp as a way of sending reminders and important updates to members. Do you feel this is the most effective way of reaching out or would you prefer email?
12.A WhatsApp Community acts as an umbrella that bundles multiple related groups together under one roof. YFCU would like to establish if this is a possibility moving forward to make communicating with members and staff easier. This initiative would mean there would be groupchats such as 'Travel', 'AERA', 'Wellbeing & Development', 'Competitions & Events', 'Upcoming Club Events' and you would be able to join the groupchats you are interested in hearing about. Do you feel this would be beneficial?

For example;

Travel - this groupchat would contain information relating to upcoming travel opportunities.

Upcoming Club Events - this groupchat would be for members to share information on events they are running within their own clubs.

Competitions & Events - this groupchat would be for staff to share information on upcoming competitions and events open to all members.

AERA - this groupchat would contain information relating to the AERA committee.

Wellbeing & Development - this groupchat would contain information relating to the Wellbeing & Development committee.
