EduWeek 2025 Faculty Call Survey

Dear EUROSPINE Member,

We are pleased that you are interested to support our annual Education Week (EduWeek) as a faculty member.

EduWeek is EUROSPINE's flagship educational surgical event. The engagement of our diverse faculty is key in providing a high quality educational experience.

Several positions to join the Basic and Advanced Module faculty teams are available for a 3-year term starting in late 2024, including your active face-to-face engagement for the 2025 EduWeek (23-25 June 2025).

Your responsibilities

Actively engage in EduWeek activities including the creation of e-learning content (before February 2025), live sessions and relevant pre- and post meetings (onsite in Strasbourg and live virtual in first week of September for the Bring Your Own Case) with faculty members and the EUROSPINE Education Team.
Commitment and availability to physically attend the live sessions for the entirety of the relevant module
Contributing to the live session teaching includes the following tasks:
- Preparation of relevant case material/s as agreed with the module chair/s and in accordance with the module programme
- Participation in case-based presentations
- Facilitation of group work/discussions
- Provision of your expert opinion in relation to other faculty cases
- Engagement in CadLabs/Skills labs where appropriate
Preparation of e-learning content including the recording of online lectures and assessments, in accordance with the module programme and accreditation requirements
Interest to promote EduWeek across your networks

Requirements

Specialisation in the treatment of spinal disorders
Several years of specialist experience in and the treatment of spinal disorders
Availability to commit to the EduWeek live session dates (!)
Active engagement in the preparation process, including the attendance of at least 2-3 virtual preparation meetings or de-brief meetings
Previous teaching experience preferred i.e. at university level or at another society
