1. Home Security Market Readiness Testing (MRT)

Dear fellow Comcaster,
We are pleased to introduce you to one of our new and exciting products, XFINITY Home Security (XHS). XHS is a next-generation home security system that provides greater peace of mind by keeping you connected to your home and family. In addition to 24/7 professional monitoring, you can access your security controls remotely, receive email or text alerts and even manage home utilities via any Internet-connected computer or smart phone.
The future of XFINITY Home Security starts now and we want you to be a part of it! We are launching this exciting new product in Washington within the next few months and invite you to participate in an employee Market Readiness Test (MRT). Your participation and feedback will allow us to deliver a superior customer experience.
MRT DETAILS
1. To participate in this MRT, you must subscribe to the XFINITY Home Security Preferred Service and sign a 2 year customer agreement.
2. You will receive a "Preferred" package with free installation ($199 value), along with a complimentary lighting module ($89.95 value).
3.The monthly service rate will be provided to you at employee pricing of $31.96 per month (20% discount). You will also receive a 20% discount on the purchase of any additional equipment.
o If you leave Comcast during the 2 year term and keep the service, the regular XHS Preferred service rate of $39.95 per month will be applied to your account for the remainder of the XHS contract.
o If you disconnect the service during the 2 year term and remain employed with Comcast, you will incur an ETF. The ETF is $580 declining quarterly by $85.
o If you leave Comcast and disconnect the service, the ETF is waived.
4. You must register for the XHS Survey Portal and complete the posted surveys (directions will be provided).
ELIGIBILITY
You must meet the following requirements to participate in the employee MRT:
1. Must reside within the XHS serviceable area
2. Must be a full time exempt Comcast employee
3. Must be an owner of a single family residence (apartment or rented residencies will not be installed per Comcast policy)
4. Must currently be an XFINITY Internet subscriber (any speed tier)
5. Must be willing to participate in test scenarios (use cases) and MRT surveys
