The Wildfire Conservancy, in partnership with the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF), California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE), CAL FIRE Local 2881 (L2881), and others are conducting research on Clean Cab concepts for wildland and wildland urban interface firefighters and firefighting tactics. The goal of the project is to better inform recommendations and protocols to reduce occupational exposures on wildland and urban interface fires.
