The RAMSES NC Teacher Residency is funded by a grant offered by the US Department of Education Office of Special Education Programs.
Please note the following before completing this application:
To qualify for this program you must meet the requirements below.
1. Hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution at which you earned at least a 2.75 GPA;
2. Be a teacher of record or hired to become a teacher of record in a special education general curriculum classroom, or work as an teacher assistant or other position in a school with special education students. (We do not have a program for adaptive curriculum.
3. Be seeking initial licensure. Teachers who hold a continuing/permanent license in special education or another area are not eligible for this program;
Please keep in mind that WSSU MAT offers a NC: K-12 Special Education: General Curriculum. We do not offer an adaptive curriculum license.
