Introduction

The Washington State Department of Transportation Aviation Division is preparing Airport Layout Plans (ALPs) for 14 of the 16 WSDOT-managed public-use airports. WSDOT-managed airports support a variety of functions ranging from recreation and general aviation access to public safety and natural resource protection (emergency/natural disaster management, search and rescue, emergency medical services, law enforcement, wildfire response, etc.).  Many of the WSDOT-managed airports are located in remote areas with limited transportation access. A primary mission of WSDOT is to maintain these airports as part of the state’s multi-model transportation system and to support their wide range of uses.

WSDOT is currently preparing ALPs for Tieton, Ranger Creek, Skykomish, and Copalis State Airports. We would appreciate your comments on these airports, in addition to the other WSDOT-managed airports you use. By taking a few minutes to complete this survey, you will help in maintaining and improving the system of WSDOT-managed airports throughout Washington. Thank you for your time and support!
