About the Survey

As a member of Weddin Shire Councils Digital Panel, thank you for agreeing to participate in providing community input into a variety of issues affecting the lives of residents of the Weddin Shire.
On this occasion Council is looking for feedback on key issues affecting the renewal of Grenfell's Main Street.
The first questions are about you. These are followed by questions about community views on the current Main Street. The approach to the Main Street project has not been agreed as yet and there is still a rigorous process to go through.
Please read the fact sheet before answering question 10.
You are then asked a couple of questions about Council and the importance of new facilities.
Finally you are invited to think about existing services and their importance.

Question Title

* 10. The Deputy Prime Minister and Federal Member for Riverina the Hon Michael McCormack MP has announced that Weddin Shire Council has been granted $1m grant funding under the Federal Government's Drought Communities Program.
The funding will help to boost local employment opportunities, stimulate local spending and address social and community needs, help to ease pressures and share economic benefits for people living and working in these areas who have been facing tough times, due to drought.
Note projects must be completed by 31 December 2019.
