Workshop Series Overview

This workshop series was created to provide a space for Alaska Native youth across the state to connect with each other. Participants will learn how to bead a lanyard from contemporary artist Daanis Teeple (Ojibwe and Yup'ik). The participants will also have discussions about contemporary and traditional practices in both art and every day life. This workshop is offered at no cost to participants and supplies will be mailed to you.

Who is eligible to apply?
This workshop series is open to Alaska Native and Native American Youth between the ages of 13-18, that are still enrolled in school. The deadline to apply is April 23rd.
