The Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen North) and University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine (UF) are partnering with wildlife rehabilitation facilities across the United States to understand which wildlife species are susceptible to SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, and to determine the best biosecurity practices for protecting these species and their caretakers. This work is being supported by the U.S. Department of Agriculture Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (USDA APHIS).

This survey is for general onboarding and enrollment of wildlife rehabilitation facilities. Wildlife rehabilitation facility participation is voluntary, free, confidential, and non-regulatory. This survey will gather information about the wildlife rehabilitation facility, including contact information for key personnel involved in correspondence for this study, and general infrastructure, including staff and animals rehabilitated at the facility. Thank you for your interest and participation in this study.
