Core Values of Worship at Woodmont

God-Honoring

Because we want to honor God in worship we rely on Scripture for direction and insight. We believe God meets us as we gather in the name of Jesus. In worship, we are embraced by God and express our love for God.

Missional
We believe Jesus prioritizes the last, the least and the lost. In worship, we will reflect Jesus’ priorities and structure our assemblies so that the seeker is welcomed and all people are invited into God’s mission.

Edifying
We believe God places us in a body of believers in order to belong and contribute. Every believer is gifted by the Holy Spirit. In worship, we will look for ways to build up our brothers and sisters.

Transformative
We believe God longs for fully devoted followers not merely well planned worship services. There should be a consistency between the words we speak on Sunday and the way we order our lives. In worship, we will call each other to be transformed by the Holy Spirit into the likeness of Jesus.
