A study is being prepared for a proposed rail-to-trail project that will extend west to east, parallel to State Street, from South 10th Street to an existing trail at the intersection of South 1st Street and Bosler Avenue. Another portion of the trail will extend south along the Susquehanna River to the I-83 overhead bridge.
The proposed multi-use trail will provide recreational opportunities for residents, business owners, and visitors of Lemoyne, as well as future opportunities for regional trail connections west to Camp Hill and Lower Allen, north to Wormleysburg, south to New Cumberland, and east to the City of Harrisburg.
