West Rosemary Street Development Guide

On January 23, 2017, the Town of Chapel Hill held two community meetings to discuss the future vision of West Rosemary Street and the development of a West Rosemary Street Development Guide. 

 

The Town of Chapel Hill is undertaking this planning process by asking the question, how can the vision statements of the Northside Neighborhood Conservation District inform the commercial and economic development of this corridor?  More information about the project can be found at www.townofchapelhill.org/rosemary

 

Over 100 community members and stakeholders participated in the meetings.  Of particular interest was how the future development of the West Rosemary Street corridor would benefit the Northside community and what tools the town could use to regulate, incentivize and generate positive community benefits from future development.

 

With that question in mind, we have developed the following survey to ask about where you expect to see redevelopment along the corridor and to ask for more feedback about your priorities for community benefits and desirability of uses - both residential and non-residential. We appreciate your feedback on this survey!
