Werk Your Net serves as a guidebook to empower young minority students to build their network and net worth. On the flip side, it also serves to help industry leaders learn how to improve their recruiting and retention rates of diverse candidates.
My name is Yasna Vismale and I am the author of Werk Your Net. I wrote this book because I saw how few of my peers were taking advantage of the resources and opportunities to turn their potential into a reality. I also wanted to reshape the mentality towards recruiting “diverse candidates” because I know there are many more brilliant people who look like me who just haven’t tapped into the right network.
