Introduction

Is Hamilton’s tight labour market preventing the growth of your business? Do job applicants have the technical skills that you require?

These are two of the important questions that Workforce Planning Hamilton (WPH) is asking employers who complete our annual EmployerOne survey.

EmployerOne is the most efficient way for Hamilton employers of all sizes and sectors to partner with WPH in building a strong workforce and prosperity for themselves and for the community.

Please complete our survey below and help us to better understand the workforce issues and challenges that businesses in Hamilton face.

The EmployerOne survey collects information on many issues, including:

·  projected vacancies
·  hiring intentions
·  recruitment strategies and challenges
·  your perspective on candidate skills, education and training
·   added this year: a question on the top Essential Skills needed by your company

Our data is released to schools, community partners, government agencies, and the public to increase understanding of the local labour market.

Confidentiality: All answers will be treated in strict confidence and will be used for statistical purposes and published in aggregate form only.

A copy of the results will be posted on our website in early 2020.

You could win a free booth at the 2020 Connect to Careers fair, taking place on March 5, 2020.

Please note that your business may receive EmployerOne from more than one source, but the survey should only be completed once.
