CDANZ delivers webinars via Zoom to keep members informed of internal projects and to deliver professional development in accordance with the CDANZ Competency Framework.
If you would like to present a webinar for CDANZ we welcome your abstract at any time throughout the year.
Once received abstracts will be assessed for quality, relevance and balance across our whole Professional Development programme.
If accepted we will negotiate a date and time with you, and confirm the webinar in writing.
The IP in the presentation will remain property of the presenter but CDANZ will request the right to share slides and a video recording of the presentation with participants after the event.
CDANZ will set the pricing for the webinar, manage promotion, registration and the hosting platform. The presenter will need to ensure they have access to a computer or device with speaker/microphone, camera and internet access.
If the presentation falls within the remit of the presenters paid work CDANZ will not offer any fee to the presenter. If, however, the presentation has been developed specifically for CDANZ by a private practitioner we will consider entering into a joint venture whereby the presenter will receive 30% of net takings as a fee. An example of how this will be calculated is as follows:
Total takings from registrations eg $500 incl GST
Less gross ticketing fees eg $26 incl GST
Less credit card commissions eg $3.80 incl GST
Subtotal of $470.20 incl GST
30% to presenter = $122.66+GST ($141.06 incl GST)
