This is the 7th annual basket weavers retreat & campout bringing together master weavers, practitioners, and learners for a time of sharing and learning. This a soul sustenance focus for engaging with healthy, ancestral lifeway practices. This is a local tribally-focused intergenerational, family and youth environment. Bring your projects and come weave. All meals are provided. Limited materials will be provided. Wear layered clothing for varying weather conditions. Bring your water bottle, lawn chair, harvesting and processing tools and a happy heart! If you plan on camping, please bring your bedding personal hygiene items. There's cabins & tent areas available. This retreat is targeting 12 years or older Tribal citizens who are connected within our Tribal communities and have a vested interest to expand their year-round basketry commitments. All minors need to be accompanied by an adult. Registration is due by Thursday, October 5, 2023, 5PM.
