The World Bank Group’s (WBG) Gender Data Team would like to invite you and your colleagues to take a brief survey about your experiences in exploring gender issues through various data resources. This is a unique opportunity for you to provide your opinion on which types of gender information, gender-related and sex-disaggregated data, and website features you would like to see highlighted in such resources.

Your feedback will be invaluable in helping the World Bank strengthen the production and dissemination of more and better gender data through the WBG’s Gender Data Portal. In particular, we seek to improve the Gender Data Portal’s accessibility, usability, and saliency of information to allow more advocates, journalists, and policymakers to see, understand, and act on gender gaps.

Survey details:
  • Given that we are interested in a variety of perspectives, you may still complete the survey if you have not used any gender data resources or the WBG’s Gender Data Portal.
  • The survey takes 5-10 minutes to complete and we would appreciate if you could reply before September 10, 2020 though the survey will remain open indefinitely.
  • Your responses are anonymous and only a summary of everyone’s responses will be used within the WBG Gender Data Team to enhance our Gender Data Portal.
  • Throughout the survey the term gender data/statistics refers to gender-related and sex-disaggregated data/statistics.
Please feel free to forward the survey to your colleagues, students, or anyone who is professionally or personally interested in gender and/or data.  The link to forward to them is the following: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/wbggenderdataquestionnaire

If you have questions, comments or would like to review test versions of the WBG Gender Data Portal please email sbunker@worldbank.org
