Are you passionate about diversity and inclusion?

We are looking for volunteers to implement London's Community Diversity & Inclusion Strategy. As a ‘Community Diversity & Inclusion Champion’ you will have an opportunity to share your perspectives on how to make London a more diverse and inclusive community.

Community Champions are needed to sit on the following working groups established around the priorities identified in CDIS:
  • Take concrete steps towards healing and reconciliation
  • Have zero tolerance for oppression, discrimination and ignorance
  • Connect and engage Londoners
  • Remove accessibility barriers to services, information and spaces
  • Remove barriers to employment 
 
CDIS Working Group Members Roles and Responsibilities
 
As a member of a CDIS Working Group you commit to working with the City of London and the community to support the vision of the Community Diversity and Inclusion Strategy (CDIS):

London is a diverse and inclusive community that honours, welcomes and accepts all people; where people have the power to eliminate systemic oppressions.

As a CDIS Working Group member you will be required to:
  • Attend by-monthly meetings during the two year term;
  • Provide relevant knowledge and expertise to assist with the implementation of the CDIS;
  • Work on the implementation process of your respective priority, and;
  • Promote community awareness of the CDIS.
