Please note: We will do our best to schedule volunteers in their requested position. All volunteers working in an "on-court" position will also be required to work in an "off-court" position to ensure the tournament needs are met. We appreciate your flexibility in this matter.
The positions are:
Drivers: Transportation for tournament players to and from airport/hotel/billet housing. Mercedes vehicles will be provided. Class 4 drivers are also needed for our shuttle transfers. Divers are needed starting on Friday, August 11th.
Arrival Hosts: Receiving players participating in the tournament at YVR and/or Waterfront Station and assisting them to previously assigned transportation.
Court Concierge: Stadium ushers to assist and direct fans on and off courts.
Court Services: Monitor the courts for player supplies and refill as needed: water, sport drinks, bananas, towels.
Ticketing: Support the Box Office and assist spectators and player ticketing requests. Operating Will Call, issuing receipts and conducting customer surveys.
Greeter: You are the face of the event and will be responsible for welcoming all of our guests and players as they arrive at the tournament. You will also be responsible to ensure only accredited individuals enter designated areas.
Players Lounge: Correspond with coaches and players on court times, post up-to-date match scores, liaise with Hollyburn Food and Beverage Department on refreshment requirements.
Box Seat Concierge: Oversee Box and Skybox seats and ensure guests have everything they need.
