What is a Master Plan?
A Master Plan is a long-range strategic roadmap that outlines the town's vision and values and provides a framework for making future decisions regarding land-use, transportation, housing, economic development, natural resources, and community facilities. It reflects a shared vision of where the community intends to be in the coming decades, helping to shape local policies, and guiding public and private investments. This forward-thinking document is crafted through an inclusive planning process, where residents and stakeholders come together to brainstorm ideas, deliberate over priorities, dream about possibilities, and develop a unified strategy for the community's development.
Community Input
Community input is essential for the Master Plan. In addition to community surveys, the Planning Board will host a variety of public meetings and workshops to engage stakeholders and community members and ensure the plan reflects the needs and a community vision for the Town of Uxbridge. Announcements for upcoming events will be posted on Uxbridge Master Plan Website (www.UxbridgeMasterPlan.com).
