As members of UUFR, we come together to build, sustain, and nourish a liberal religious community that transforms lives and empowers people to serve the world. Building a vibrant and thriving religious community involves sharing not only our financial resources but also our time, energy, interests, talents, and skills.
Each year, hundreds of UUFR members volunteer their time and talents to work with UUFR’s staff, committees, and ministry teams to create, support, and expand the many programs and activities that make UUFR what it is and what we dream of becoming — Sunday worship services, our religious education programs for children, youth, and adults, our music program, social action projects, small group ministry, social activities, and more.
It all depends on us, which is why we need you! We want and need the gift of your time, energy, interests, talents, and skills. We need you — whether you already have a particular talent you want to share or want to learn something new; whether you prefer to work with a team or on your own; whether you can work on a long-term project or a one-time event or program.
Please complete this inventory of gifts and interests indicating the ways in which you are willing to share your time, energy, talents, and skills during the coming year.
For more information about many of the programs and activities that are listed below, please see the UUFR Connections brochure (available at UUFR or the UUFR web site, www.uufr.org).
The information you provide will be shared with UUFR’s ministers, staff, and lay leaders so we can connect you with others and best use your time, energy, talents, and skills to sustain and nourish this liberal religious community that transforms lives and empowers people to serve the world.
