The Programme Committee of the UN World Data Forum are inviting the global data and statistics community to submit a programme proposal for inclusion in the programme of the next Forum to be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia between 9 and 12 November 2026. The Committee is seeking proposals based on the four themes of the Forum:
- Innovation for better and more inclusive data
- Maximizing the use and value of data for better decision making
- Building trust, protection and ethics in data
- Effective partnerships for better data and a more equitable data ecosystem
And the following provisional tracks of the programme (list will be finalized during the selection process):
Artificial Intelligence, Climate Change, Crisis in the world of data and statistics, Data Governance, Financing for data and statistics, Fit-for-purpose organizations, Future of Official Statistics, Inclusivity, Misinformation, Sustainable development by 2030 and beyond, Urbanization.Fully completed responses in this submission form will be evaluated against 5 criteria: relevant and impactful content; demonstrates innovation; concrete and practical experience; diverse and inclusive discussion; creative presentation. The main contents of the proposal (Q.2-9) will be published on the
UN Statistics Division WIKI website for review by the Committee. Any personal data in this submission form (submitter names, titles, and email addresses) will be redacted in this process.

All questions in this form are marked mandatory to ensure the most complete picture of your proposal is available to the Committee. You can choose to stop at any point, but your progress will not be saved or submitted. If you decide to return to the submission form later, you will need to start all over again. The questionnaire has nine questions and will take around 10 minutes to complete if you have all required information available on the proposal, including full details of your speakers/organizer list.
