The USAID Alumni Association (UAA) was established in 2009 to harness the experience and expertise of former USAID employees to support effective US foreign assistance and sustainable development; provide an independent voice on USAID’s development and humanitarian mission; and promote social interaction among its members.

With the dismantling of USAID, UAA will adjust its objectives and operations in light of the new realities of the international development and humanitarian assistance landscapes and workforce in order to remain relevant, respond to new developments, and meet the expectations of its members, both new and long-standing.

This survey was developed to invite UAA’s dues-paying members and others on our mailing list to:
  • provide updated background information on their location and job status,
  • help define the direction of UAA’s strategy and activities for the immediate future and next few years, and
  • weigh in on key operational issues regarding UAA’s membership composition, spending priorities, and geographic scope.
You do not need to be a UAA member to complete this survey, though some questions assume a basic level of familiarity with UAA.

It should take an estimated 10-15 minutes to complete this survey. Your responses will be invaluable as UAA decides where to focus its time and resources in the future.
