Truckee Tourism Business Improvement District (TTBID) Deadlines, Application and Requirements

The TTBID Committee and Truckee Chamber are working together to support past events and encourage innovative new events which support the Truckee Brand, attract visitors in non peak periods, and lift locals' experience of Truckee and its events.
 
The Truckee Special Events Funding Program is intended for events that attract out of town visitors, drive overnight accommodations of all types (nightly rentals, hotels, inns etc.), generate a positive economic impact (shopping, dining etc.) and overall help Truckee Business owners - during the shoulder season or soft dates/midweek.  The program wishes to support and promote our authentic town and Truckee Brand Promise.
 
Primarily supported are marketing and operational efforts needed to promote and support an event, to target audiences who reside outside of the Truckee area.  Measurable results will be recorded and recognized in regards to specific goals including economic impact, specific calendar dates: April through the first two weeks in June; September through the first two weeks in December (excluding holidays); midweek days, along with positive experiences for both the community and visiting guests.

DEADLINES: 
The 2017 Special Event Funding Cycle is for January-December 2017
 - note: for 2018 events, the application process will be in October 2017.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:
-Read the Truckee Brand Guidelines to understand Truckee's core values and Brand Promise.
-Read the Truckee Special Event Guidelines
-Complete the TTBID Special Event Funding Application below by the appropriate deadline.
-Upload a copy of Town of Truckee Application Form,if applicable (needed) for your event.  
-Upload a copy of your Marketing Plan.
-If you received an Event Grant from the Truckee Chamber of Commerce in 2016, a post event Recap Form is required to be eligible
