A personal note from our CEO
Dear Friend,
The Boys & Girls Club of Troy thrives because people like you have stepped up; bringing your ideas, your voice, and your energy to something bigger than yourselves. Now, I’m inviting you to consider taking the next step.
We are seeking individuals who share our passion for shaping the future of Troy’s youth to express their interest in serving on the Troy Advisory Council. At this stage, we’re learning who feels called to this work and what strengths they might bring to the table.
Serving on the Advisory Council is about more than attending meetings. It’s about listening to our community, connecting resources to needs, and making sure our work reflects the values and voices of those we serve. It’s leadership that builds trust, strengthens relationships, and creates momentum for the young people who count on us.
This is a volunteer role, but its impact reaches far beyond a title. When you serve here, you help ensure the Boys & Girls Club of Troy remains a place where every child feels safe, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential.
If you believe your voice and your vision could help guide what comes next, I encourage you to complete this interest form. While completing this form is not a guarantee of selection, it is the first step toward a conversation about how you might help lead this important work.
With gratitude, anticipation, and ALL for the kids,
Richard B. Curry, Jr.
