Info and Agreement

TPS is pleased to offer the tuition assistance program, funded in part by the generous donations of TPS families.  We do not have a traditional scholarship program, but use our limited funds to provide support and assistance on a case-by-case basis.  Please read the following carefully to understand how our unique program works.

The process is as follows:

1.  Enroll first.  Please only enroll in courses you want strongly enough that you will take them (and can pay for them) with or without assistance.
2.  Apply for tuition assistance.  Complete this application any time after you enroll and submit it before August 1st.
3.  Wait for a decision.  At the end of the application period, we consider all the requests as compared with the funds and distribute the funds as wisely as we can.  Tuition assistance is allocated in September.  We will notify you of our decision at this time and apply any allocated funds to your account.

We have significantly more requests than funds and cannot give estimations of what families might receive, except to say that we don't consider more than half the total tuition for any course.  Since tuition assistance is not determined or committed before classes start, you should not enroll in any class you are not prepared to pay for even if the assistance is not what you desire or require.

Thank you for the opportunity to serve your family, and the potential to provide your family tuition assistance.  Your responses to these questions are an important part in the decision process.
