CW/ISS TopCops Survey

Introduction

Welcome to the South African Top Cops Survey. Your participation is important!

Corruption Watch and the ISS have teamed up to run a campaign to get public feedback on the process and criteria for appointments of:
the South African Police Service (SAPS) national commissioner and
the head of the Directorate for Priority Crime Investigations (the Hawks).

For more information on this campaign follow this link: https://issafrica.org/crimehub/multimedia/brochure-unwanted-police-commissioners

We believe that the best possible person must lead these law-enforcement organisations if we are going to see improvements in policing and public safety.

This requires a transparent selection process against clear merit-based criteria as recommended in the National Development Plan (NDP)

Let us know what values and attributes would you like to see in your police chiefs?

The survey is completely anonymous and the results will be shared with the general public and sent directly to the President, Minister of Police and the Parliamentary Police Portfolio Committee
