To Make Our Voices Heard: Tennessee Women’s Fight for the Vote will explore the long history of women’s political involvement in Tennessee that led to a landmark moment in American history—the ratification of the 19th Amendment. As the 36th state, Tennessee was the last state necessary to grant women the constitutional right to vote.

Rich with interesting stories, documents, and images, the exhibit brings forth the ideas and actions of generations of Tennessee suffragists from across the state. This exhibit encourages participating venues to tell their own suffrage stories and to find creative ways to engage and inspire their communities.

The pop-up displays are expected to be ready for shipping by June 2020.
